Food this week -- 5.25.14-5.31.14

I'm not doing lunch salads this week, because I'm working on some stuff that's due very soon and I want to get it done asap. So lunches this week will be sandwiches with a very simple green salad accompaniment.

As for dinners ...

Barbecued Beef Sandwiches
Chili lime shrimp skewers (if it's not too hot to put the oven on, I'll make these oven baked fries)
Slow cooker veggie enchiladas - I'm not following this recipe exactly, just using it as a base. I already have my own enchilada sauce recipe that I like and I'll be adding a lot more in terms of seasoning to the veggies.

We have a lot of running around to do this week, so we're going easy.

Lunches
Still need to make the lentil/rice salad that was on last week's menu. Aside from that we have sandwich stuff to supplement.

Dinners
Last week's chicken is happening today, with leftovers tomorrow. Then ...

For some reason I forgot I still had Channa Masala ingredients from last week left over to make, and I went and bought more food. So Channa Masala ... also still on the menu. In addition to...

Food this week - 4.20.14-4.26.14

Still have lunch left over from last week, so we'll only be making one new one. That is....


As for dinner...a couple meat dishes this week, but instead of making enough for two days, we're only doing enough for one day each.


And we'll probably make cheeseburgers with twice baked potatoes in there somewhere.

Also, for a Sunday breakfast treat ...

Berry croissant cheesecake bake (next to no nutritional value, but a nice little splurge...)

Food this week - 4.13.14-4.19.14

This week is a little different because we'll have someone in town (dinner out!), so we won't cook as much food as normal.

Chicken enchiladas
Pizzas (homemade of course) -- I have some spinach & feta that need to be used up, and pizza is the best way to do that!

Extras
I'll probably do a berry sorbet, maybe based a little on this.
